OWEN JELF IS BEST, JAY PRICE SURPRISE IN THE FIRST TIMED TRIAL!
Jelf Team would not give the dominance out of their hands, as Owen (4, Molgaard) clocked the best time so far on the 1940 meter long circuit of Vigo at the first Timed Trial during only 5 lap of the permitted 15 ones with a result of 00:44:65 seconds. An average of 2 seconds faster then the Free Practise classifications.

Second best to set the time is Jay Price (55, Molgaard), newly re-formed driver of #6 Racing, who ran his time from 4 completed laps only and clocked 00:45:51 secs.
Colin Jelf (3, Molgaard) came this time third with even less number of laps, 3 were enough for him for his classification with 00:45:83.
Philippe Tourre (6, Molgaard) performs excellently by running on the 4th position so far, followed by Italian Abbate, almost as in the Free Practise.

Better conditions of weather with even the slight wind dropping down provided better average results and faster speed for the drivers. Molgaards still rule the course but still the second Times Trial is due to be fought with the clock. 14:30 0’clock will be the time of the green flag for the second Timed Trial that will be followed by a long lunch break when the Match Race and the Speed Record continues at 18:00.
