| THE ENGLISHMEN DID IT AGAIN! | Match Race saw again the glory of the Englishmen with Colin Jelf winning the Spanish round, Owen coming second and Marc Rolls as third. The Jelf brothers again could not be beaten and met in the Grand Finale, well, not for the first time in the history of the Matches. Marc Rolls (22, Bomba) finished on third place after beating Coenradi (14, ASV) of the Netherlands. Denis Jarnigon improved his former results in the Match Race and after his 9th place in Riga he managed to finish as 5th in Vigo, the Frenchman unluckily met Owen Jelf in the quarter-finals who rejected him from the further contests. Mikki Forss, newcomer of Finland will definitely be satisfied with his performance so far by finishing sixth.
| Arif Al Zafeen has 100% in Speed Record, with his podium top in Riga and winning in Vigo as well, he has already collected valuable points and push up to 173 km/h. Rich Hakonsen was the one to get close to him with 171 km/h and Latvia’s Uvis Slakteris accelerating upto 169 km/h.
Sunday’s Grand Prix of Vigo will see Colin Jelf on the Pole Position, surely with his best effort to win the GP if Jay Price or Marc Rolls cannot keep up with him or his brother. Tomorrow will bring much to offer and will celebrate a new winner, but the day after tomorrow is going to be a new leap when Vigo will award the European Champion as well.
