FRENCH SUCCESS BORN FROM EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE
A day to never forget for the young French driver, Jean-Baptiste Thomas (13, Molgaard) who won the Match Race tournament of Korea, beating Owen Jelf in the Grand Finale and collecting his first trophy in Boat GP.

The 5th sitter of tomorrow’s Grand Prix Grids amazed the public by defeating Manici (9, DAC), Andersson (1, Molgaard) and finally Jelf and had one of the most remarkable day of his career with the chequered flag waving in front of the spectators.
Third driver to step n the Match podium was Jonas Andersson, with Jay Price coming as fourth, despite rolling over in the previous Match with Owen Jelf, the inhabitant of New Orleans quickly was recovered and continued the fight with the current World Champion.

Speed Record Contest found the American on the top with 178,1 km/h, again on the second place Owen Jelf finished at the speed of 177,2. and Latvian Uvis Slakteris became third fastest with 169,8 km/h.

The top positions of the Grand Prix will be again occupied by the Jelf brothers with Colin on the pole, Owen as second. Andersson will do his best starting out from the third grid and Marc Rolls, who is currently tied with 29 points in the fight for the 2005 World Champion’s trophy will be departing from the 7th position.
