The overalls of the two Timed Trials see Swedish Andersson (8, Molgaard) sitting on the Pole Position of the third Latvian GP of UIM - F2000 World Powerboat Championship.

The overalls of the two Timed Trials see Swedish Andersson (8, Molgaard) sitting on the Pole Position of the third Latvian GP of UIM - F2000 World Powerboat Championship. A position that is definitely familiar for him will encourage him in the battle for the World Title to re-gain it after a break of one year, but successfully for the third time. 00:48:94 was the time he set in the first session, Colin Jelf (4, Molgaard) developed his set-up and improved a better result for the second one at 00:49:33. Third on the grid with another magnificent run in the second trials is Frenchman Philippe Tourre (6, Molgaard) followed by Owen of the Jelfs keeping his better result from the first Timed Trial at 00:49:80.
Local fans of powerboating celebrate their home driver Uvis Slakteris (51, Molgaard) on the fifth position of the grid, being one of the few drivers to improve their times for the second trial.
The fastest sixteen drivers will continue the rest of Saturday’s activities by preparing for the tournaments of Match Race and Speed Record contest.
