The weekend of the Molgaards did not finish with the Timed Trials, but went on even in the Speed Record Contest. Again the top six speed results were achieved by the Danish built raceboats which enlarge the reputation of the F2000 World Powerboat Championship.
Fastest was local Uvis Slakteris pushing up to 165,4 km/h on his home waters, followed by Owen Jelf 165, 3 km/h and Jonas Andersson driving at 164,3 km/h. A good measure at the beginning of the season during choppy conditions, but still holding on the ultimate fight between the Swede-Anglo parties of the championship by all means.
