Drivers from 12 countries attacked the challenging circuit in the port of Castellon. A combination of long straights, tight harbour section, and perfect but hard water conditions brought out the best from the drivers.

Colin Jelf set the pace, with Uvis Slateris and Tommy Walsten hard on his heels.
