The Grande Premio de Portugal will take place at Vila Real de Sto António during the weekend 28/29 April 2007.

Mr. del Palacio explained to the press conference that the Portuguese Grand prix status granted by the Federation, demonstrates the importance of this race, which will launch an exciting season of racing world wide. Formula 2000’s popularity will be further enhanced by the season starting in such a prestigious venue.

The exciting 2007 season calendar for Formula 2000, which will be announced at the UIM General Assembly at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, will also be further supplemented with BoatGP organised Continental championships and Ordinary International races.
