After the UIM General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur, Jose Luis del Palacio spent some time in Korea. | And following extensive discussions he agreed with the local organisation to stage the first round of the Asian segment of the F2000 World Championship in their Capital City.
The race will take place in the beautiful city of Seoul on August 12th, in an even more impressive location on the same river used in 2005. Spectator facilities will be far more comprehensive, and the local government will be catering for tens of thousands of local enthusiasts over the weekend. We are assured that the Koreans are intent in making this their showcase race after the disappointment of this year뭩 cancellation due to flooding.
The hot news however, is that one week later on August 19th there will be a second race, and the teams will have an opportunity to relax and enjoy a few days holiday in the countryside.
