JONAS TAKES ALL

Jonas Andersson was the first boat on the water for the speed record and posted 154km/h as the best speed in the shortest straight ever raced in the championship. After a 3 out of 3 in Match race - Jonas was declared the winner, as Colin Jelf could compete in the 3rd round as he spun out of match 2.

So its been a perfect return for Jonas Andersson, here with his sponsor -Liepaja Shipyard.

"I love to be back in the F2 boat, it sure is not easy to be back, because its a very competitive class. Colin Jelf pushed me all day, and Im very
happy to beat him, since we had many good fights in the past" says Jonas Andersson.

3000 people was attending the the crowded public aerea organized by the local club here in Vila Real De santo Antonio.

Tomorrows race start tomorrow with an additional matchrace for the public.

Main race start at 18.00 local time.
